Is losing all your Garrett detectors in a flood...well, the worst possible is losing your whole home and everything you own. Lost my 1st detector, the Ace 250, the AT Pro seems to be all okay...coils are all okay. Lost 3 sets of headphones & both of my pin pointers.

A friend had gotten me a Mine Lab Go Find, just a few months before...the housing was under water for days, so a total lost there too.

Not good. Any chance they are nearby? A friend of mine lost everything during Hurricane Hugo back in the day. I had given him a couple CW SC buttons. A few weeks after the big blow he went back to the place where the house had been and was able to find a lot of his buttons, including the ones I gave him.

Boy I have been in goofy land. I wasn't aware of any major storms. It rained here almost every for a week. The sump is still pulling out stuff seeping in the basement but it's not causing any damage. I did notice not a lot of tornados this year and now a tropical storm trying to form in the gulf. Weather is goofy this year.

This was the flood of August 2016. DSCN2244.webp This was a few days afterwards. It happened so fast...washed away 60 head of cattle.

Was this a recent flood or you talking about the 2016 flood from your latest post above

The "Great Flood" of August 2016. Some folks are still rebuilding their houses. I have a 4' levee around the house, we spent the night digging a trench to make it 6'. We lost the battle around 0530.

Now I clearly remember the 2016 flooding.

The AT Pro is working great...cleaned all the dried mud off headphones, added ear cuffs from another...tried it out and found a 1985 dime in my driveway.

Wow crazy flooding. Good thing the pro was waterproof.
