I don't think I have posted this.

I found this thebes close by the house a while back on a day I found a number of cobbs.
I almost missed the point as only a small edge was visible to me. on the underside not much dirt as it was on a dirt clod, which is interesting. if it was the other way around, a lot of the point would have been visible.

it's made of Ohio Coshocton flint and has a tip ding

Is that a Thebes? Im not familiar with poihtscl up there but I thought Thebes to be side notched. Any clean pics?

Definitely got that look of points in that time period, Thebes lost lake Kirk whatever, I like it, great find.

Nice Thebes Corner Notch! was a bigun' back in the day, they didn't let those go until only a nub was left...always heavily beveled on opposing sides.
Could be Coshocton, but more pitted than the material I usually find, which is alot.
