This year the water level was the third highest ever
recorded. At the end of the week we hit the thebes
spot and did pretty good. The water has yet to leave
the site...Come on Dovetail!!!

Here is a scan of some of the points I found.
After leaving and looking over everything we
all found, I noticed my buddy had the third
and final piece of the bi-pointed hand blade!

Thanks guys...yeah Dorkfish...I think last year we took
a big chunk of the larger points. We'll see when the water
goes down if there are anymore bigger ones!

Great finds! When you get in a field where the water has washed over it like that, it makes your mouth water, you just know there's some good ones waiting to be picked up. Looks like you guys where on em' too......

Thanks guys...Well I have some bad news. My
buddy came back with a dovetail drill today! :'(
...but, broke, haha! Naw, but I have no doubt
we'll find the newly broken drill tip someday!

Today I pieced together my broken Attica chert
dovetail from last year. My buddy found the tip
the same day he found the dove drill this week.
Are we lucky or what? When a spot erodes like
this, definitely pick up all the brokes!
