Hi fellow addicts, got out today to a park in Indy that has been kind to me. I'm a traveling Contractor for a National Retailer, and am constantly traveling from State to State. I'm finally on a laid back project, that allows me some time to get out and hunt. I've hunted in the past three weeks in Iowa, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Columbus Ohio. I usually just do a quick Google search to find the old parks in town, and then go sample a few. If the first one doesn't pan out, I use my GPS to find another close by park. I found four Silvers today, A 1914 Barber Dime, a 1938-S Quarter, and two Mercs, 41&44. In the past week, I've found 11 Silvers. Shown is todays finds, and the finds for the trip so far, I've gotten out five times total. 2 Indian Pennies 1873 & 1878, and 52 Wheats. All from pounded out parks.............It's still out there!!...............Happy Hunting!!

Hello, can you share with which park it is? Riverside or Garfield? Or another? There was once a Civil War camp near the park at 16th and Fall Creek Parkway, west of MLK St. If you're into that.

That was only my Second Franklin, the first came out of Golden Gate Park In San Francisco.

It has amazed me this year the amount of wheats and silver that I myself am getting . When you go to these parks and there is 20 acres of land there How can you not find silver . I guess it is all about atitude . I have been going to a park all year . And have got 30 silvers over 200 wheats . I love it when people say to me that a park is hunted out . Nice finds and I wish I were you . nice Rob
