There's Gold in them there Camp Sites

A Confederate Bedroll Buckle..a 1848 LC the first of the week. Went back Thursday and found a 1906 Barber dime. I then found my First GOLD. A mans 18K Gold wedding band. The condition of the ring would indicate that it has been in the ground for a very long time.

How deep was the ring and how did it read on your VDI?

Was using a X-Terra-70 with 10.5 DD 7.5KHz coil. The VDI was 16 at 8". I normally only use two tones and the 16 was a high tone. This was my first gold..so 16 will be my key for gold. TomB
