Found this in a field (old homesite nearby). I am not sure how it got mangled to the existing shape. It doesn’t show shovel/plow strike damage. I placed it next to two other spoon stems for both scale and ability to see different thickness of silverware. I first thought it was the middle portion of a spoon or fork….but it is very narrow, light and pliable. Now I’m leaning that it was a "band" of some sort? Any ideas?

maybe a napkin ring.

Thanks BB!
I’ll get on the inter web to find an example. Thanks for replying.
I have an example on an original lamp in my upcoming relic ID book.
