Thinking about geting an underwater detector for gold searches

I am thinking of getting a detector to find gold underwater, but I don't know which ne to go for. I see Garret has a PI model. Are PI detectors good for small gold? Thats what Imam looking for. Something especially made for small gold. I already have a mine lab eureka that works well up above. Now looking to go down under.
Any info? Recommendations?
