That is pretty freaky, dude. Looks like it grew into the tree and the tree lifted it from the ground. Any info on the sword?

HH!

Holy crap! Hard to believe that a sword was in the tree that long an no one ever removed it be4 you did...

RR,
I'm not sure if I like the actual find or they way you found it better. :icon_scratch: O.K., BOTH are incredible.
Very cool discovery. :icon_king:

Interesting find. It is a Knights of Columbus or Knights templar masonic sword.

The new King Arther has come forth. Yes, that is a banner find. Any more details on the sword?

Agreed! But did the tree survive? :o :'(

That is an unusual sword style. Any ideas on the time frame or history of the site you found it at?

First off, congratulations on your patience!!!!
Secondly, Spectacular find!!!
Have you pulled any other relics from that hallowed
ground? You are good!

Incredible find, your due diligence rewarded you with an awesome sword!

that is the coolest thing I have seen in awhile. Makes me wonder if there is anything else around there and how it could of been there for so long without someone else coming by.
Banner!!!

I can believe it....Pa.'s close enough....Sweet!!! Keep me posted.......

We have a new King!

Ha! Ha! Well, I don't quite think it's Excalibur..

Great find RR! Very special.
Are you eligible for a banner post? I didn't look.

With some better pics the super sleuths in What Is It can most likely ID it...

My wild guess is a Knights of Pythias ceremonial sword.

Congrats!
