I found this iron assembly right after the fairly ornate hurricane lamp head. I don’t think they are related. The “frame” is one piece with 2 sections. There is a bolt going through from end to end, with a nut on one end. The 2 movable parts spin around the shaft. The part with the 2 handles looks like it may have had a threaded center and was possibly a way to add tension/tighten the gap. Thanks
