This Day : XP Deus Reactivity 4

[Bratvlos]

Hello to all from France

Small hunt of the day on a map it again and again for years by others

A place infested with small ferrous

Fortunately for me deus has a higher reactivity to all devices on the market

On all others devices you have a reactivity between 0 and 1 but on the deus it ranges from 0 to 5 !

Reactivity 5 is really very fast as if the coil was a needle !

In polluted environments I use a 4 reactivity in 18khz, see results for 2 hours :

looks like you had a lot of fun...

could you explain what are the items you recovered?
they look like some roman coins, maybe a roman sandal brooch??

did the coins clean up nicely?

cheeers

[Bratvlos]

1 roman sandal fibula II/III century
1 Merovingian fibula looped symmetric VI/VII century (very rare !)
1 bronze nail
1 Medieval coin in bad silver
Some romain coins I@III century (poor condition not possible to clean )

[garryson]

Those are some nice finds, keep it up.

[Westfront]

You had a good day again Philippe! too bad that the coins are in bad shape but a merovingian find will make up for that!

[Bratvlos]

Thx westfront !

A merovingian fibula is always a fantastic discovery

That XP is an impressive detector. Here in the States, it runs about 2 grand. In your opinion, is it worth the extra change, or should I wait until I can get one for the price of a V3 or a E-Trac possibly? I have watched several videos on this unit, but haven't seen any that have encountered gold rings or chains yet...have you had any experience with such finds with your XP and if so do you have any comments on the matter? Thanks Filou and congrats on some nice sorts out of the pile!

[Bratvlos]

I do not think the price drops

It is expensive but you say you have three machines in one : 7 & 14 & 18 khz

It works great on gold and silver. Although I am not a fan of the beaches I have already done many rings with deus...

[relicminer]

Great finds, nice little machine!!

[DrJoePrime]

Congrats!

Great finds in a difficult situation.

Actually 4 machines...4k, 8k, 12k, 18k.

I really love mine I run it in 4K and it ID's crown caps for me in the trash. I can visit many new places I never could before. I run my reactivity at 2 and sometimes 3. Running at 5 is a bit too fast for me.

Do not forget all the possibilities besides changing the detecting frequency. Yes it loves to find gold...it'll sound off on 0.3 gram nugget at about 1-1/2 inches.
