This dog was a long way from home.

[DiggerDave in Pa.]

These are todays finds minus a pile of can slaw. The holed large cent was the first target out of the ground. This is my first out of state dog tag. The rain cut my hunt short. I did do some door knocking and secured permission to detect four large yards in an old neighborhood. I'll try to hit them hard this week. Thanks for looking. DD.

I wish I could think of something clever to say, but the poor doogie probably got abandoned and died. On the other hand, a hippy like me could have dropped it because me and my friends used to wear stuff like that and call them our "dog tags".

I figure someone came back home from L.A. to visit and the tag came off while they had the dog out on a walk...d2
