✅ SOLVED This has me puzzled

found in a corn field today ...... rings up hard as iron on two different detectors ....... does not make a squeak on a garrett carrot or a regular garrett pinpointer .... any ideas what this is !!!! Thanks

Looks likea chunk of iron oxide, I could be very wrong but i bet it just fell off a really rusty old something in the ground

Turn that carrot stick up to high power and try again, but I agree with Tpmetal, it looks like a chunk o' rust.
