Crotal Bell found in Mississippi delta and was wondering if that unusual and about how old the be bell might be.

Nice looking crotal bell Rodger. I found one similar to that one in the Cleveland area. I use to hunt in and around Greenville a few years back. I hunt mostly old home site's and schools.

Is there a letter or number or makers mark on the bottom where the slot is? That will help date it. I found one in Clinton, Ms several years ago along the Natchez Trace and mine dated to 1750.
