Two points from inside the arc this morning! Field along Neosho River And Hickory Creek. Here is what I have found in the same spot in recent weeks minus some give aways.20201226_120647 (2).webp

Your on to a good camp nice finds .

Man you found a little bit of everything--knife, dart, preforms, arrow point, hafted scrapers... gotta love that! Congrats.

Looks like you know where to look!
Very nice!!

Very nice artifacts. Have you attempted an ID on type and material on any?
That tiny triangle is...TINY!

No, MAM. I am quite lazy when it comes to that. I love to hunt them but then I drop the ball when it comes to ID. The archeologist at Kansas State used to go through my stuff and rattle off type, age and material origin but it never stuck with me. Maybe hanging around here will teach me something? Thanks. And that little triangle is ALL business! Sharp as a needle! I believe the archeologist called all of my triangle points like that "Wichita" points.

I think the triangles are jughill which are preforms to washita. The triangles are the most common points I find.
The black material might be Galesburg chert. And the other lighter black with speckles I’ve been told is another local material.
