This one fooled me!!

[DKinPA]

Thought I had a half.....or better.....the DFX said 93 at 5 1/2"!!!! I was thinking old half or even dollar with that VDI and the sweet tone that came with it. Oh well, no coin at all but a darn neat token none the less.

Found this at the old abandoned pool with Jeff of PA and White's PA on Sunday morning. No great prize but good fun and company huntin' with those two guys.

Thanks for lookin'!!

I've had the same experience with one of those. Thought I had a half, but just someone's souvenir.

Not a half but a nice find just the same ... congratz ~ Jimmy

[Indianhead Jones]

Nice! I've found several of them, the oldest being dated 1958!

I would try to track the guy down and return it. I know I would love to get something like that back!

[tymcmurray]

Customized badges are still cool!

[Detectingfreak]

I still say that looks pretty cool!

[desertfox]

A keeper just the same and like you said, you had great company on the hunt!

I see now it says

GARY . GEORGE WEST WEST TERRACE PA

don't know if that should be "Gary George"

there are a Few george's in the Book but no G. or Gary George listed
