they are a great band or were, now that Rick Wright is gone just not the same.Have you listened to any of David Gilmour's new stuff like "on an Island" great classic Gilmour sound. My 16 y/o son is probably their #1 fan and can play all of their music on guitar and would love more than anything to meet gilmour, maybe someday.

Amazing...I have not heard that song in years. I never really was a big fan when I was a kid, guess I had to be 50 to appreciate them.. lol.

Much of Pink Floyd's music has effects deep in the psyche. Time and Great Gig in the Sky are both very powerful songs and some of my all time favorites.
