Been out to a couple of older spots this week. In one location found a complete, but very bent, brass trigger guard from an early musket. Today in another older location I found half of a beautiful shoe buckle, which is brass with a silver hand worked overlay on it. I looked for a long time for the rest of it, but it was not to be found. Also located a nice brass rein terret, and a few older buttons. In the same field was a 1907 liberty nickel. Thanks for looking...Lance

Nice finds! I love that buckle, it's too bad you couldn't find the rest of it!
