I rode down to the beach Saturday and hunted the beach Sat evening and Sunday morning. I found somewhere between $10 - $20 in clad , another ladies' watch ( still works perfectly),a 2007 foreign coin, numeral 2 on it, some sort of snap looking thingy marked Gallagher Basset, a toy truck, a 2009 log cabin penny , a 925 toe ring , some fishing weights , a drivers license and a diamond stud earring. The earring appears to be perhaps a white gold setting and if the diamond is real , looks like it may be about 1 full ct. I'll take it to the jewelers as soon as i can.
I also ran into Modern Miner's hunting buddy "Bubba" on the beach. We chatted a while and then parted ways...a super nice guy.
I did a reverse search of the address on the Drivers License and called the phone number and left a message to call me so i can return the license to her. She lives about 30 mins from me.
As I was driving home , I stopped for gas and saw a penny on the ground next to the pump. I bent over to pick it up and about a foot away from the penny was a ring. I snatched it up hoping it was silver or Platinum, but no such luck ...an unmarked alloy ring.
