Looks like my wife has family coming in town and she will be driving with the kids to visit. Ill have time to detect if anyone wants to go out. I'm in sarasota and wild be down to hit anywhere really. Let me know if Any of you want to go hunt with the rookie.

No red tide that I could see. Just a ton of people crammed into a little area not good for detecting.

I was at Bradenton Beach this morning. I saw two other MD'ers there. One was a male just a few hundred yards north from my position and a female just about 100 yards south. Wouldn't happen to be you two?

I was there with my son. If they guy you saw had a 6 year son In tow it was me I saw no one else today though. Really bad day detecting, not sure (after reading my book four times) if I have the thing set right, and my targeting sucks. Hunted all day got 37¢ and a bunch if foil trash.

Siesta key beach this morning I was one of over 15 people out there swinging. I need to find a new place lol

where do you guys hunt besides the beach? or is the beach pretty much it? just trying to find a cool place to go hunt, let me know if you ever want a rookie to tag along.

I'm a noob also. I am still doing a little bit more research. I did read that Sarasota and St. Pete Beach are among the countries top 10 beaches and that 95 million people visited FL last year. I am sure that with a bit of patience and determination, our finds will be better than just corona tops and pull tabs.
