Folks,
I've been pulling low numbers the last couple of weeks. So I was hoping that the luck would turn for me sooner rather than later. When I picked up my coins on Thursday, I could tell it had the potential to be a good week. One of box was a "Frankenstein box" -- it had been opened, coins taken out, numbers written on the side, and reloaded with new rolls and resealed. So I figured that someone broke open a box of halves for a few rolls, and then the bank re-sealed it after loading new rolls in. Worth a shot.
So it was the first box I opened, and it did good. The other three all produced respectably. The numbers and pics follow. Best to you all my friends!
The total take: 9x 90% and 27x 40%.
The numbers by box and pics follow.
Box 1: 4x 90% (1944-S (this Walker filled a hole in my book
) and 3x 1964); and 10x 40% (1x 1965; 5x 1967; 2x 1968-D; & 2x 1969-D).
Box 2: 1x 90% (1945 Walker); and 5x 40% (1x 1966; 1x 1967; 2x 1968-D; & 1969-D).
Box 3: 2x 90% (1946 Walker, and a 1960 Ben); and 7x 40% (3x 1966; 2x 1967, 2x 1968-D). This box gave up a gold plated bicentennial.
Box 4: 2x 90% (1x 1958-D; and a 1964); and 5x 40% (1966; 2x 1967; 1968-D; and a 1970-S).
I wish you all well. Happy hunting.
