This won't hirt my 150 will it?

hi guys
I just got an old 10" Hot Head coil the local whites dealer gave me. the plug fits my ace 150 but before i plug it in i want to know that it is compatible and won't hurt it.
any help from anyone that know electronics would be apreciated as soon as posable as i am hunting around a 1930's house and am so far only finding clad.

As LONG as The Plug Is Exactly The Same It Should Be OK.?
COUNT the Prongs First, Make Shure The Number Aint Different.

He DID give It To you FOR the 150, RIGHT ?

The prongs are the same but he didn't know if it was for a Garrett or Fisher.

Contact Garrett and ask before you use it. I had to do that with a coil I bought for my whites.

Yea I'd Check IF Your NOT Sure.

As Certain Prongs Even Tho They Fit, Me Be Connected Diffrently Inside.

I echo what the guys have said and would add that many coils are not just coils, they have electronics inside them that require certain voltages and if they don't get it or they get too much-*PPFFFT* you're done!
