Got out for a few hours yesterday on the same creek I found the Angostura (thanks to tnet members for I.D.) last Monday. Looked for several hours on 3 different gravel bars and ended up with two broke tips. I thought i had a pic of the little pink tip i found but apparently not while posting this. Not much to look at anyway, lol. But this one would have been awesome. It's just under 4" broken. Not sure what type but looks like it MAY have been another inch and a half or more...not sure. Thanks for looking. Any info on type is appreciated.

That is beautiful I?ve never found one but that one there?s a treasure

I found two down by where you live. Both were on the beach between N.O. and Gulfport stuck in those little briars or whatever they are growing on the beach. Both were made out of the calico looking stuff with white black and brown splotches. Pretty cool pieces that I wish I still had.
