Thomas Moran Lithograph?!

TreasureHunter02 · Oct 22, 2016

This large painting came from an estate sale a couple of years ago. It looks like it's on a canvas. It is his piece Grand Canyon of Arizona From Hermit Rim Road. I'm not sure what it is. I guess it's a lithograph. With the frame it's about 4 ft by 2.5 ft. Anyone know more about this and what it would be worth?
Thanks!

Cool picture take it to a reputable art dealer that will give you an honest appraisal and let you know exactly what you have, I love western art.

Anyone ever hear of the "internet"? :laughing7:

A search for "Thomas Moran Lithograph" produced a segment from Antiques Roadshow as the top result......

Cool piece! You can see the frame is different on yours but could be the same ballpark.
