Public parks in Baltimore have a reputation of being Hunted out, Pounded to death, But still produce a variety of finds. 1875,1876, & 1889 Indian Heads, Dateless Shield, a V, and 6 Buffalos, about two dozens of wheats, a War of 1812 navy button, some very nice copper piece, maybe part of a buckle? The tiny golden buckle is actually a pin, and its plated but cleaned off really nice, part of a military decoration from WWI, the silvers showed up in the form of 3 war nickels, a 1941 Merc, A small sterling piece with a floral motif that im sure is a part of a silver bracelet, last but not least the sterling chain piece, may be from a pocket watch, who knows, all i care is that is really pretty. Thanx and good luck to all.

What's nice about parks is people still make "deposits" in them.

Dang...hunted out!? Methinks otherwise! That's an awesome pile of coins and relics you have there...congrats on a great day..Ddf

You gotta love those pocket buster parks, guaranteed to produce, congratulations!

That is one fine park to keep giving up good finds like that. Congrats.

Believe me that what everyone calls parks here " Hunted out " Some say they cleaned them back in the 80s, New machines, deeper machines, and US willingly to go after iffy and not so good signals is what keeps producing nice finds.

This is a very old park, but it does have those little sweet spots

Yes the point is to be patient and dig those deep signals that aren't the best.

Congratulations on the Quadfecta of nickels. (Shield, V, Buffalo, War Nickel. )
Excellent hunt and variety.

Wow, great variety! Especially all those buffs. So awesome!

Too true! They "cleaned off" the top 4 inches or so...sucked up all those shallow silvers. From what the old-timers say, there was so much shallow silver they didn't have to bother going deep chasing iffy signals...could you imagine traveling back in time...let's say...1964 (no clad!)...with one of today's machines. Now THAT would be fun! Ddf

That's my kind of hunted out park- Congrats on all the great finds!

Congrats on the nice hunt. That's a lot of really nice old stuff!

Congrats on your finds in the Baltimore park. You really hit a hot spot for the long lost items. I haven't been to one yet that I didn't find a few deep targets. Can't wait to see your next set of finds from Baltimore parks.
