I saw "Farmer Brown" limbering up his equipment today so I thought I'd take stumble across the cornfield.

Pleasant day....few finds. Still a fun way to end the season.

The tiny peg like thing is flat on top and has
a square shaft and doesn't look like it was
broken off. :dontknow:

The spoon looks like it was really ornamental!
Lots of engraving, both sides. But I can't make
much out.

Anyway, thanks for peeking!
(I had to look for shade today!!)

Hi, some nice finds.:icon_thumleft: I like finding old buttons in my hunts

I hope next year "farmer Brown" puts in soybean, much less stumbling. That's a good field hunt, few keepers, nice day, and a good walk. I'm looking forward to some good field hunting this up-coming week.

Nothing wrong with a handful of flat buttons! Nice outing!

I would say you stumbled in the right places. Congrats on the finds.

Very nice relics, congratulations! :occasion14:

I'm with you! The stumbling, flat wears me out! :(

Great finds. Congrats

I'd say 4 flat buttons is a good way to end your "field" season Whadi.

Nice bunch of old buttons there, Great job.

A little bird told me you didn't quite finish up yesterday....

A little bird told me you didn't quite finish up yesterday....

It was my intention to have that be the finish until I got an invitation from a *VERY* nice cat person! ;)

Great finds!

Nicely done, and all the best,

Lanny
