It still might be a blazer button, but something tells me it's got a little bit better quality to it ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438543286.298236.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438543309.238347.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438543339.367456.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438543386.015243.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438543430.704927.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438543470.316541.jpg and More detail. Anyone know anything about the fob other than being from Kentucky?

That one is a US Navy button,I think late 1800s at the earliest, but more likely WW1-WW2 era. It has a tin back that has rotted away. That being said, the face looks very similar to the CW period tin backs, will look at my books a bit more.

I like the Kentucky fob!! BTW the glass domes bridle rosette on your avatar is quite nice. I have a very similar one with a V on it. Any chance you can post a close-up of the front and the back? Here's mine...

I think his avatar pic is a Confederate Script I uniform button from the civil war, and a beauty at that, probably Isaac and Campbell. That being said, I love your rosette...awesome find.

Thanks. BTW Dan was the one who provided the info on the button--military buttons are not in my area of expertise
