Found this spur today, I’m thinking it’s Confederate, what are your thoughts?

Being uneducated on said item my only thought on that is it's awesome. Hope it turns out to be a good one either way real cool.

Congratulations, Fullstock... you've indeed found a brass civil war Confederate Military spur. The key ID-clue on it is the "sloped" junction between the spur's arm and the rectangular strap-holder. On its yankee counterpart, the junction is a right-angle turn. Compare the junction shape in the photos below.
