Silver Hallmark Help

[Indian Steve]

My wife just picked up this candelabra and am curious about the hallmarks. Is it Sterling? It weighs 614 grams. Thanks

organized in 1894 as a department of Meriden Britannia Co. One of the original companies which formed International Silver Co.

Silverplate.

The Forbes Silver Plate Company was founded in 1894 as a department of the Meriden Britannia Company for holloware silverplating. Became part of International Silver in 1898. International continued to use this mark at least into the 1930's.

AARC is correct... and those are pseudo hallmarks on silver plate.
