Found this in the spring in a tilled field in central Indiana. I have been back and forth on whether this has been worked or what it may be.....Thoughts? 1.webp2.webp3.webp

Looks like a piece of jasper and from your pics, I don't see any indication that human hands shaped it.
 

Agreed, figured I would get a second opinion before tossing it into the rock pile...thanks

It looks natural to me.
 

Not to start something stupid, but what makes it look un-naturally formed to me is that it's like a crystal in having straight, flat face segments, but those segments don't align with the hexagonal habit of crystalized quartz. But not a pseudomorph due to the rest of it (1st picture). Minerology's over my head.

Interesting, at least.
