Today's Hunt

It's been a while since I hunted the Elders Camp, but we had a good rain yesterday so a quick hunt today. When I arrived, I knew it would be tough all the dead grass was laying over and no dirt showing. But a lot of gopher activity after a few hours of walking back and forth and I found a few. A Martis Dart a Rose Spring arrow point and a Sierra Stemmed Dart. Happy Hunting

The first time I walked this camp was around 1978 and it still kicks out a few points.

Really nice. We have been getting some heavy rain but it is waking all the leaves down into my best spots. Got to wait for a gully washers to clean them out.

I’ve got ground hogs and moles but they don’t help at all.
