I think this item, possibly is when women wore cardigan sweaters and held the two pieces of the sweater together. It's a lovely piece with amethyst stones and an antique brass finish. What time period would it be from, and what would the approx. value of it be? Thank you so much! Looking forward to the feedback.

It's an interesting piece, thought it might be from the 50's or 60's? I found a few sweater clips but nothing that resembles this one. You're most likely correct not worth much, but unique in my humble opinion. Thanks!

It is a sweater chain. I'm guessing made around the 1960s 1970s era. Could even be later. It appears to be in great condition. It's still a clothing type accessory sold today.

The chain links are a give away to value IMO. While it is attractive, any clip of value would/should have a chain of better construction.
