So I just purchased a Minelab Etrac from a good friend of mine... has under 100 hours on it.. It comes with a snipe coil and a wide search coil... it also has an attached pinpointer.. I am getting all of this for $1,200... is this a good deal?

That's a good deal,the x-1 probe is worth $300 ,and about the same for the extra coils..and the ETRAC sells for around $800-1000 used depending on remaining warranty.

oh yes, he gave me a book as well that is about as thick as the bible... im starting to tumb through it!

Ok a little more for ya... I got the E-TRAC, a 15" CoilTec Treasureseeker coil, Sunray Stealth coil, and the Sunray X-1 all for $1,200.00 is that a good buy?

ha ha..... Is there ANYONE who has actually Mastered the e trac? Im not talking about being competent ...Im talking about being a Master.

I was offered one....felt the weight....saw the manual....googled the reviews...said ummm no thanks.
