Cool find, still on my bucket list!:occasion14:

Welcome to the forum, Joseph! Those tins are fun to find .. Equally fun is doing a little research on them.

I bet you didn't know that your backyard was once part of the red light district?? :laughing7:

Cool find though.

Merry bachlers tin cool find

Welcome also from MI Tommy

Welcome, Joseph. Found mine last year. Brothels, brothels everywhere!!
I believe your tin is the first design.......dates to the 1920s.

Very nice find! :occasion14:

Welcome Joseph!

Definitely a showcase find. Maybe not a brothel but a "Merry Widow's" home!

Best wishes!

C´mon in the good old days this could come from an unmarried couple that had to go in the bushes for intimacy.

The question that I always ask: Is the rubber in the box? Did the guy "go equipped" but lost is before?

Greets

Namxat

i have found one of these by a huge tree and nothing else in the middle of the woods no less

Cool find, Congrats!!!

?3 Merry Widows? Tin | Museum Collections Up Close : MNHS.ORG

I found one on a property that had a log cabin nearby. When I showed it to landowner, she was a little taken back as she's only a 1/2 mile from the community church and didn't want that information getting out about her cabin. A week later I was digging the same area and couldn't resist telling her I found 6 more (I did not). The look she gave me was priceless and well worth the spoof.
