Nicklemaster, those Chinese coins are hard to ID (at least for me) but there are a bunch of sites for doing it, just google, how can I date my Chinese coin?

I don't think I'm going to make it through the winter, I'll be carrying an ax with me to chop through the frozen ground.
By the way, what is your cleaning tech for nickles?

I just put them in peroxide for a day and then put them in olive oil for two days it works well...Best of luck with the rest of the season bud...

Nice finds PP. I have been looking for my first buffalo for a long time. I dug up a bunch of pull tabs over the weekend, but none of them turned out to a nickel!

It was cold here too. High was in the 50s on Sunday... sorry, I just couldn't resist... I will show myself out now. GL&HH!

As one from Hong Kong, these coins are purely decorative. They are based on old designs and used for decorations and feng shui.
In Hong Kong or China you literally buy them by the kilogram.

Nice finds you managed to snatch before winter locks it down!

Hopefully Murphy will leave me alone and I can MD Sunday.

Awesome finds.
