I know what you mean, I thought about that but didn't roll it into the post! An after post to the post, the 173? George and the 1908 dime were two feet apart. It seems people lost money there over a long period of time , I'll certainly be going back...

Hey Bill , Thats just one of those coppers that is not going to get better with cleaning ! That Liberty cap I found yesterday was like that !
