Through 6-8 inches of snow down another 4"

I found this neat bicycle permit with my MXT with the Super 12 coil on it through 6-8 inches of snow on January 27th in a woods. It was about 4 inches in the dirt besides, so I can't say I can't in the winter anymore. I'm headed out today cause I haven't been in a while and I'm going with the Super 12 to the woods.

Here I am sitting at the computer and sipping coffee. While several miles away your digging in the snow. Now, which of the two of us is dedicated? My hat's off to ya.

That is a great find, Giant!! Really interesting that you needed a bike permit back in 1908.

Re: Through 6-8 inches of snow down another 4"

Thanks everyone, in Michigan if you don't get out and doing something in the winter it can get mighty boring and I go metal detecting any chance that I get. I figure it's a lot warmer than ice fishing and I use to do that a lot but haven't gone in quite a while, I just use my ice fishing cloths for metal detecting in the winter. Been metal detecting for years but only the second winter detecting.

Cool dig. Nice bike tag. Does anyone know of any history behind it, why would you need to register a bike?
