So today was Himself’s birthday… so what better way to spend the evening, but doing what we love the most! 😆 xx

Another gorgeous livery button … think initials are MR… which could be Manners, Rutland. A pin type thing, 2 bits with patterns, the one on the left has the same little catch/hinge as before … ? Wish I knew what these were! The the rim of something? 2 musket balls, a half penny and the silver tonight was found by the birthday boy… a worn silver coin stamped also with MR! xx

Resisted another castle pic… so view to the right and left of the castle… and the birthday cake we got to have after detecting (and no I didn’t make it!) 😂 xx

The s rectangular piece with the design, almost looks when I turn it 180, it says metal lever.

I think the silver coin could be a “slap token… “… old worn hammered coins, shilling or groats countermarked with the initials of merchants and used as trade tokens.🤔 xx
