Thursday Hunt

I looked for over 5 hours today in two fields. The small points and the piece of pottery with the hole in it came from the first field that I looked and the bigger points came from the second field. I just looked one small part of the second field but I plan to go back to it tomorrow and several more days.

Nice Points,& nice that you never seem to strike out on a hunt.Your doing it right. As I strive myself to not come home empty handed, for me I invest a lot when I go between a gas guzzling truck hauling a 21ft boat around.I find it hard to swallow if I strke completely out. It can happen but not many times yet.Passion & Determination goes along way.

You are like me Pete. Time I get all my equipment wether its 4 wheelers or boats it is costly to hunt. Everything that was close is covered with asphalt. Americus as always another good hunt. It is rare you pick up or show and pottery. I am sure you must see lots. Good luck on that field. They are cutting the corn here and will be drilling winter wheat.
