ToddsPoint you are as bad as my brother. He is a huge Michigan fan. He even has the first pop corn box from his 1st game he attended in the 70's. lol

Reminded me of this commercial...

Ones I Have Photo Proof of.
But Not Necessarily a full Memory.
Also Back up bands I listed are not Correct in all Cases. :(
According to Google & Newspapers . Com

Blame it on the '70's Early 80's party Life :evil4:

Thats pretty awesome Jeff! There are so many that I am jealous of lol.....even the prices back then. Pink Floyd the Wall in 1980 would have been epic (I would have been 7 years old lol). I still have tickets to Roger Waters....he is stubborn as he will not cancel due to covid, he has the concert labelled postponed....

They've come a long way IMG-20180927-WA0002.webp

I've saved a ton of ticket stubs over the years. Here's most of my Skynyrd stubs. Also included five picks I've snagged from the shows as well.

How was the Cheech y Chong show man?

Honestly a Disappointment .

everything was from their album Big Bamboo , One of My Friends who Came Separately Thankfully, So I Pretended not to Know Him,
Kept Yelling out the Punch Lines :laughing7: Tommy Chong lost his cool & got P.o.d & reamed him Out .
others were Throwing Joints on Stage, occasionally they would pick one up & light it. But there was No New Content.

They Spent the show Sitting in Chairs on Stage. I suppose in Hind sight, They were Maybe Pretending they were in car.

Been awhile , memory Fades :tongue3:

...open the door man, its me, Dave, I got the stuff.......
....aah....Daves not here.......
I have been in the front row all my life, it is a state of mind.
Those are all some great flash backs.
The price tags would be fun to relive too.

I used to like Festival Seating. Be at the Door early in the Morning & Run like mad, when ya got inside.
I'd always Get up front.
Most of the Early Concerts were that way. Once they started placing chairs on the floor and numbering them
I limited the concerts I went to.
For Pink Floyd we were in the Nose Bleed seats, for Jethro Tull we were behind the stage :(
, one with Ted Nugent, Scorpions and Def Leppard we walked around.
walked around during an REO Concert Too

That was an awesome WS, as Michigan connections Morris (ex Detroit Tiger) and Smoltz (from the same HS as me) pitched their butts off.

Back in the day, I had a g/f and we collected show tickets for three years. Then she 'caught me'. A week later I received in the mail a picture of ashes. Those tickets included the original Rock and Roll shows from the Apollo Theater in NYC. (Alan Freed was the host.)
Don.....
