Has anyone received a ticket for parking on the side of the road when beach access was closed

Have a buddy drop you off and pick you up....no one will know !! Make a pick up time or use your cell for extraction. I like this approach.....you only have to go one way if you dont have a vehicle......you just have your ride pick you up at a different locale. Hell....you could have an uber drop you off......at one of the trail heads !!

This way you dont get a ticket.....and know one even knows your there.

Although if they close A-1-A and the bridges shut down you could be stranded !!

I like the Uber or Lyft idea because it avoids tickets or towing and allows your friend to go with you.

Or make friends with various locals who live on the beaches you like to hunt and park at their place... that’s what I do

No ticket but I know of a guy who got run off by Ind. Riv. Shores officer 3 days in a row last year(?). The gate was unlocked. As he was leaving Turtle Trail a sheriff car pulled in and stated that the area wasn't closed.
As law-abiding citizens, when a LEO asks you to leave you must comply or risk going to the pokey.

Rumor has it, members have kept people off the beaches in the past and detected themselves, very successfully, according to one guy that bought some of their finds. They are no longer on the force from what I understand.

I knew it.....and here I thought there was a hole in my pocket !! Not to mention its a darn long Uber ride from the keys to wabasso !!
