Sounds good to me. How about it Pyledriver? Dustbuster? Baylorhall? Libralabsoldier?

My husband and I are going to be off work the first week of May, and we definitely would love to do some hunting that week, if y'all plan something that week.

We haven't done any hunting other than a couple of central Dallas parks, so we're open to anywhere!

I would love to do that. I have relatives staying with us May 1st - 5th, but that Thurs. or Friday would work great for me. Most school days are great for me.

I have my choice picked! Will share it with this select group when we nail down a date. :) I haven't been there, but the history looks awesome and with great potential. I would never be brace enough to go by myself, so this would be a blast. ;D

I should be back on my regular schedule. Any Wednesday would work for me.

If we can plan it far enough in advance I can make it on a Wednesday for sure.

The next couple of weeks for me are going to be a major pain since we are going through our ISO certification and I'm on the integration team, but after that it should be all good.

Let's plan a good hunt. We can liine up two or three different places if they are small sized. Maybe bring or plan a place for lunch?

Let me know I would love to join up!

Looks like my inlaws will be here the whole first week in May, so I may only be able to join for a couple of hours if that is when we get together. hey---found a small silver ring today. :)

I'm in but I'm gonna let y'all pick the day! My schedule is somewhat wacky right now! :tard:

Got room for one more? Just recently found this site. Met pyledriver last week at Cole Park but was working so I couldn't join the fun. Would love to meet up with you guys if the schedule permits.

This is DrGrip's thread, but I'm sure we would all welcome another hunter! I know I would. Has anyone heard from Baggins? Back in town? Still on tour?

More folks, more finds, more fun. Sounds good to me!

If it's OK with everyone else, let's make one of our hunts at the swim beach on Lewisville Lake around "Party Cove".

I know we need a permit to hunt at Lake Grapevine. What about Lewisville?

Free permit from the Corps of Engineers office we can stop on the way and anyone who needs one can get it right then. It took me about 10 minutes and they had to search for the forms. The permits are good for a year.

Sounds like we are building up a good party hunt!

IMO a weekday (mid week) would probably be best so as to avoid crowds at the parks and the swim beach areas.

Each Corps of Engineers lake requires its own permit to MD. I've found that most offices can e-mail you a permit after you send them a copy of your driver's license. Once received you'll have to sign a copy and fax/e-mail it back to them for file.

How about a lucky 13 hunt? Wednesday, May 13?

Meet up at the first location and then go from there?

To coordinate all of this I think we should start a YAHOO group or something so that everyone can see where we plan to hunt, the times we plan on being there, and so on. I can create it if there is interest.

I have a location in Richardson along a creek where people are always gathering for something, I've not hunted it yet and can save it for the group hunt. I promise tabs and bottle caps if nothing else! ;D

Thoughts?

How can I miss a promise of bottle tops and pull tabs ::) Count me in too, if it's okay. I can do in the middle of the week anytime. Sounds like great fun! :icon_sunny:
