Time for the silver dance!

I hit an old church in town.. right on main street so I figured it's been md a million times, wrong! Only had an hour and a half and only covered about 1/3 digging the easy signals only... $1.23 Clad, 5 wheaties, 1 silver quarter and one silver dime! Not fantastic but a great day for me!

I would consider finding ANY silver a great day!. I got a merc and a 46 quarter my first week owning a detector and zilch since. I've read some posts from folks who have gone 3 years without silver. I'd be happy with those coins! Way to go!!!!

Thanks guys! I hope the other 2/3 has some silver! I'll be going back but probably not tomorrow morning since it's Sunday and all... I'll go back to finish Monday morning and I'll post if I have any more luck. *Now if I could just wipe this silly smile off my face*

Really cool dude! I sadly found a spot where I had till the next day to detect because they were about to pour the concrete but I still hurriedly found some keepers! The best was a centennial coin for this area that was minted in 1978. Some silver but was of 50`s and 60`s vintage so the centennial was the best! Its a large coin( similar to a silver dollar in size) so my detector screamed when I found it! And it is made of silver! So even tho it was made recently I was still doing the silver dance!..................nan can do it better than me tho!...........and she does it more often!
