Hello Tnet,

My first find with my new minelab safari ! Its a Tiny copper/bronze buckle. Anybody knows what it was used for and how old it could be ?

Possibly from a watch band, or a shoe strap.

Of I’d have to guess i’d think it be pretty old. It
Has that 1600/1700 colour, maybe an
Old shoe buckle tho ?

They were used on hand bags and saddle bags also. The buckle proceeded the snap on many things.

Looks like a pants adjustment buckle. :icon_scratch:
I don't think it's as old as you think it is, I'm thinking late 19th - early 20thc.
