High there found this today on ploughed land in UK Midlands with xp deus v4 hot program very small in size (10mm) has anybody got any idea and I'd thanks Dan

Thanks jewlerguy that's pointed me in the right direction.... I think it's a farthing of Edward as it seems a lot smaller than the Edward 2nd penny my dad found a couple of weeks ago.

Halfpenny of Edward III dating from AD1335-1344.
Withers type 5.
London mint.
Obv: +EDWARDVS REX ANG*
Rev: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON*
I'm assuming its about 15mm which makes it a halfpenny, if its close to 12mm its a farthing. Remember to allow for clipping.

PS. What I like about it is what I assume is a privy mark on the obv & rev at the end of each legend; ie the 'star'
I had lots of Edward III Coins & never had this star variant, pretty cool.
