If tiny gold counts....2 1/2 hours of wet sand produced this little 14K signet ring along with a silver toe ring and the usual clad. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Hunted until my hips started to bother me.

Nice find and it looks like an old one too.and it is bigger then the 0.8 gram I found the other day!

Those broken rings or the small ones in general often get over looked out there just because of their sound and people concentrating more of covering as much beach as they can instead of focusing on just a portion. This time of year you have to slow down. Ive gotten 3 of those broken ones lately. I was showing one to another hunter in the water and it broke in half..... and ploop.... in the water it went. I almost never found that smaller half even in PP and we were standing right there. He couldnt find it all and gave up leaving me to the task. Good find......

I like finding the small ones...lets me know my machine isn't missing anything...now go find that missing piece. :laughing7:
