Hey Gang,
Well it took me nearly a week to get this done but here it is. This is the first video I have ever made. I was trying to get it out during Memorial Day but I'm new at this. This is just my way of showing the TRUE meaning of war and just how brave our men and women are.... And why we should be grateful. I hope you like it..

Enjoy
PLL

hey gang,
Thank you for all the kind words. I hate to do this but, I would ask that if you could, PLEASE spread the word this coming holiday weekend ( July 4th ). It's now on you tube under " My Friends ". I simply would like to share this with as many people as I can. Especially those who have a connection with someone who has, or still is in service...It's from one old vet to another... Thank You for being there..

PLL

PLL,
I have caught myself sneaking in to watch it.

You have created something very powerful here.
I would like to ask if it is OK with you...
May I put it in my Video Log?
Thanks for your time
Thom

So many people forget what our troops and their families are going through. I lost the best friend I ever had in Vietnam and it was pretty tough watching your video.

thank you for your hard work, it is very much appreciated

Thank you! To many people become numb to the reality of war.

Thank you all Vets, and those still serving. I salute you. Mikey

I see you are in Riverside. I was stationed at MAFB during Nam (triage OR medic). Mission Inn in Riverside, as I'm sure you know, has a great military history. As I remember, there is a wall at the Inn that has aviator's 'wings' attached. The idea was to attach a pair of your wings to the wall, then go to war, then return and 'claim' your wings. The somber part of that was to see (during my era 1963 and 1969) the number of wings that remained on that wall--long after the 'tour' would have been completed.
Thanks for the memory.
Don.......

hey gang,
Well, on Tuesday we will take some time to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for this beloved country. It is with the utmost respect that I made this " memorial " to these GREAT men and women who have answered the call, and to help people remember why they should be THANKFUL for what they have done. I would also say to the families of these people that I for one, know that you have " served " just as much and Although there are no words to truly express the understanding of your loss. There are equaling no words to express the gratitude for all that has been given either, and finally to all the vets that are still serving, keep your head down, be safe, and with God's speed, PLEASE hurry home...
