Today, while picking up my weekly (skunk) box of halves, I asked if there were any other halves (and also 'big' dollar coins which I bought 19).

My favorite teller (who is now the lead teller) informed me she had four.

Maybe her boyfriend had her looking for Barber or Seated Liberty halves.

Nice grabs, its always nice to have a favorite teller, and I have one at each bank that I deal with. I no longer order cases because in my area, its just not worth it anymore. However, the tellers that I deal with, actually will call me now when they get singles or rolls of halves, and the big dollar coins in. I promptly pick them up and wait for my next phone call. How many bank tellers will do that for you ? A dozen doughnuts every now and then, doesn't hurt either !
