What's happening White's Treasure/Junk ee's? I've been trying to get out detecting with the MX Sport but the weather hasn't cooperated. Lots of rain, snow, tornados, freezing cold, high winds, you name it, we've had it! However, I did manage a short hunt at a remote grassy area on a nearby lake. I found three clad quarters 1969, 1992, 2003, Jefferson nickel 2000, and a 1945 D Wheat Cent. I cleaned the wheatie but the rest I just rinsed off. If you look closely you'll see that the '69 quarter is "toasted". This is my first ever toasted clad quarter! I'm not sure what that say's about the water quality in the lake. :( Thanks for looking, Tt

I hate even wasting time digging clad as the ones that have been in the ground for a long time are always ate up, I can't find anyone that want to take them even the bank won't unless you put them into your account but they don't want to give me cash for them. HH

Unless I'm going for the "coin count", I usually don't bother to dig clad pennies. VDI #67-69
