Not every hunt in my seated field gets me seated. Its becoming harder to find those mid and high tones and the muddy and frozen ground isnt any fun either. Gonna have to start working real slow in the iron areas and beginning gridding to make sure i cover it all. Hunted for about two hours. Got a bag seal, toasty shield nick, my third frome here and another IHP, #49 I believe. Also got an 1886 v nick in which the date is about the only good spot on the coin.

Im putting in four hours tomorrow. Theres more out there just not gonna be flying out of the ground as much

Not bad finds still!!! We have the same problem around the ghost towns near us. We started taking off the top four inches of dirt in a 5 foot area at a time and started finding silver again. Problem though its a lot of work :BangHead: But it worked!! Good luck!

Congrats on those keepers Toasted. :occasion14: Sometimes a simple change in direction can turn an iffy signal into a good signal. Good Luck and keep finding the goodies.

I use my foot or skim the surface with my digging tool and that can change iffy signal to a good signal

Nice coin finds! :occasion14:

Nice stuff

I found a 86 last month in similar condition. Sucks to because the coin in good is close to 200
