Today in Mendota

Hit the honey hole for two hours this morning. Got one I haven't seen since 1982...a War Nickel. 1943P. Only about 4" down. The Wheatie next to it was a 1940. Lotta quarters today.

I am about 15 minutes down the road from Mendota. I was actually born in Mendota, Illinois. They tore the old hospital down now. I have hunted there several times over the years and found a few keepers. Nice to find a T-net member within "shouting" distance. Love them silver nickels BTW.
